Kitchen Assistant Taberna Londrina is a well-established restaurant concept that combines high standards, fast pace, and authenticity. We operate professionally and as a team, and we are seeking a dedicated and responsible Kitchen Assistant to strengthen our kitchen team at our restaurant located near São João Hospital in Porto. Required profile: Willingness to learn and develop professionally within the culinary field Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles (preferred) Ability to work rigorously and efficiently in a dynamic, high-paced environment Strong sense of responsibility and commitment Teamwork skills Availability for rotating and split shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Typical working hours: 12:00–15:30 // 19:30–00:30 Preference will be given to candidates residing near São João Hospital, for logistical and commuting convenience. Mr. Peter is cheerful and cooperative, but due to Alzheimer’s he needs companionship, supervision and daily stimulation to maintain his well-being. IMPORTANT: You must be able to communicate in English or German — Mr. Peter does not speak Portuguese. Main Responsibilities Provide companionship and engage in stimulating conversations; Assist with daily activities (basic hygiene, light housekeeping); Prepare simple and balanced meals; Do small grocery shopping; Administer medication as instructed; Go for walks and encourage light recreational activities (games, reading, memory exercises). Team & Work Schedule Work in a small team of two other caregivers on rotating shifts: Morning: 09:00–15:00 Afternoon: 15:00–21:00 Night: 21:00–09:00 (12-hour shift) Conditions Salary: €900/month Meals included during shifts No previous experience required — we value a caring attitude, sensitivity and willingness to learn.
