Job Summary: Electromechanical technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, system installation, and support for improvements in an industrial environment. Support for continuous improvement projects and operator training **Electromechanical Technician**(M/F) Águeda **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical machines and equipment. * Monitor and supervise external contractors’ interventions on equipment. * Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures. * Install and configure motors, components, and automated systems. * Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. * Support continuous improvement projects and process optimization. * Support and train operators on maintenance routines and equipment operation. **CANDIDATE PROFILE** **Education:** * Preferred qualification: Technical training in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related fields. **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial environment. * Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. * Familiarity with and knowledge of PLC programming and automated systems (advantageous). **Personal Competencies:** * Proactivity and problem-solving ability. * Teamwork and strong communication skills. * Organization and attention to detail. * Punctuality and sense of commitment. **We are the ASSA ABLOY Group** Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
