Career progression to roles with greater responsibility Location: Autonomous Region of Madeira Madeiran SME with over 50 years of experience Schedule: Full-Time Immediate Start About Us We are a leading SME in Madeira specializing in the supply and installation of equipment and technical solutions in the fields of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), pumping, ventilation, automatic doors, elevators, and water heating systems. With over five decades of experience, we focus on quality, innovation, and continuous training of our technical team. Role Description We seek an Automatic Doors Technician, Electrotechnician, or Electromechanic to join our technical team. The role involves the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of lifting systems, automatic doors, and other automation systems, electromechanical equipment, and other technical systems. Main Responsibilities: Installation and maintenance of automatic door systems or elevators Assembly and technical support for electromechanical and electrical equipment Execution of diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments of technical systems Reading and interpretation of electrical and technical schematics Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in all interventions Support in preparing technical reports and simple quotations Direct customer interaction and reporting to the technical management Candidate Profile: Education in Electrotechnology, Automatic Doors, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in technical roles (electromechanics, electrotechnology, or similar) Knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems and/or electrical equipment Ability to read technical schematics and equipment manuals Responsibility, autonomy, and organizational skills Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Valid driver's license (mandatory) What We Offer: Integration into a solid SME with a tradition in technical fields in Madeira Continuous training and opportunities for technical certifications Salary commensurate with the role and demonstrated experience Career progression to roles with greater technical responsibility Participation in diverse projects across the company’s various technical areas Excellent working environment Company vehicle, mobile phone, and all necessary work tools provided Standard working hours If you are looking for an opportunity to advance your technical career and join a reference team in Madeira, please send your CV to recrutamento@afonsocamacho.com Job Type: Full-Time
