Mathematics tutor for children/adolescents up to the 9th grade. Graduated in Management from the University of Coimbra and holds a Master's degree in Management from ISCTE. I have been tutoring for 9 years ABOUT ME: Hello, my name is Joana. Mathematics has always been my favorite subject, and I have always loved explaining it and sharing my passion for numbers with children. I believe that if children learn the fundamentals early on, they will understand them—and thus develop a love for mathematics. Although it can be a challenging subject, I firmly believe that, with the right approach, it can be fun and rewarding. I was fortunate to have excellent tutors who inspired me and helped me succeed in mathematics. I have always been passionate about numbers and decided it was time to make a difference—just as my tutors did in my life. My approach is personalized and tailored to each student’s individual needs. There is no one-size-fits-all method, and I understand that every child is unique. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. MY COMMITMENT: I strive to create a safe learning environment where your children feel comfortable asking questions and exploring mathematical concepts. I use interactive and practical teaching methods to make mathematics engaging and relevant. I focus on building solid foundations in mathematical knowledge that will serve as a cornerstone for your children’s future academic success.
