What Will Be Your Mission?
As a Second Chef (M/F), you will be responsible for ensuring kitchen operations—from preparation to cooking—and coordinating service with front-of-house teams, adhering to internal standards and procedures to deliver high-quality, excellent service that exceeds customer expectations.
Functions and Responsibilities
Prepare, preserve, and organize mise\-en\-place for each service, minimizing waste.
Ensure presentation, portion size, and quality of each dish according to internal procedures and defined standards.
Verify and control proper storage of products, monitoring food expiry dates and condition to ensure maximum quality (FIFO).
Receive, store, and organize incoming products.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized work area.
Report maintenance, hygiene, and food safety (HACCP) issues.
Understand departmental objectives and collaborate as part of a team to achieve them.
Knowledge of and compliance with HACCP hygiene and safety regulations.
What Profile Are We Looking For?
Professional experience in similar roles. Preferably in 4- or 5-star hotels or upscale restaurants/bars.
Secondary education and/or a vocational course in Hospitality/F\&B/Culinary Arts—or equivalent relevant qualification.
Proficiency in the local language and English (fluent spoken level) is an advantage.
Passion for service and strong customer orientation.
Professional demeanor and well-groomed appearance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to handle and manage stressful situations and work under pressure.
Flexibility in working hours.
Knowledge of HACCP hygiene and safety regulations.
