Job position description according to the respective competence profile: preventative silviculture, focusing on forest fuel management, using manual techniques, motor-manual tools, mechanical methods, or controlled fire, among others; maintenance and protection of forest stands within the scope of forest management and control of harmful biotic agents; general silviculture; maintenance and improvement of forest defense and forest management support infrastructure; public awareness regarding forest protection conduct norms, particularly concerning fire use, forest cleaning, and phytosanitary measures; armed surveillance, initial intervention in rural fires, support for mopping-up operations, and active post-mopping surveillance, within the scope of civil protection; furthermore, acting as a civil protection agent under the Basic Law on Civil Protection, approved by Law No. 27/2006 of 3 July, amended and republished by Law No. 80/2015 of 3 August, carrying out civil protection intervention missions as defined in specific operational directives issued by the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC).
