We host workshops, talks, sound journeys, and cultural programming, alongside a café and shared working environment. Our focus is not scale for scale’s sake, but depth, connection, and consistency. We’re looking for a Barista who understands that hospitality is not just about serving drinks \- it’s about shaping atmosphere, creating connection, and contributing to the feeling of the space. **The Role** We’re hiring a Barista to support the day\-to\-day café operations and guest experience at Wheelhouse. This is a hands\-on role for someone who is calm under pressure, detail\-oriented, warm, and naturally guest\-focused. You’ll work closely with the Front of House, kitchen, and management teams to ensure smooth service flow while maintaining the thoughtful, elevated, and welcoming atmosphere that defines Wheelhouse. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and serve coffee, matchas, teas, kombuchas, juices, mocktails, and specialty beverages to a consistently high standard * Maintain excellent guest experience and create warm, genuine interactions * Support the overall café flow during both quieter and high\-volume periods * Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards across the café and seating areas * Restock ingredients, supplies, glassware, and equipment throughout shifts * Support event setup and breakdown when required * Operate POS systems accurately for orders and payments * Assist Front of House and kitchen teams as needed to ensure smooth operations * Communicate stock needs, maintenance issues, and guest feedback to management * Participate confidently in opening and closing procedures **What We’re Looking For** * Previous barista, hospitality, café, or front\-of\-house experience preferred * Some degree of coffee art skills is a must * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Calm, friendly, and solution\-oriented demeanour * Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced guest\-facing environment * Strong attention to detail and presentation * Reliable, proactive, and collaborative attitude * Interest in wellness, hospitality, culture, and community\-led spaces * Based in Lisbon * Comfortable working flexible schedules including evenings and weekends * Team Ethos \& Culture **How to Apply** Please send your application to management@wheelhouselisbon.com and apply with: * Your up to date CV * A short cover letter or introduction * Any relevant hospitality experience * A brief note on why Wheelhouse resonates with you Localização do trabalho: Presencial
