Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
The role can be filled in Munich or Porto.
Play a key role in our Governance team within the Corporate Cyber Security \& Privacy department, maturing an integrated Cyber and Physical Security Management System across the organization. You will ensure security policies, standards, and processes are clearly defined, and effectively embedded across corporate and manufacturing; in office as well as operational environments. In doing so, you will strengthen overall risk management, regulatory compliance, and protection of company assets, both digital and physical.
* Maintain and continuously improve the company’s Physical Security governance model, ensuring governance is consistently applied across all sites
* Develop, publish, and maintain physical security policies, standards, and guidelines that are easy to adopt and aligned with international best practices
* Translate regulatory requirements, critical infrastructure requirements, and data protection\-related physical security obligations into actionable internal controls
* Partner with risk management and security verification teams to ensure risk identification, assessment, and acceptance are consistent with our governance framework
* Ensure all sites operate with robust physical security concepts, including access control, surveillance, visitor handling, asset protection, and security incident reporting processes
* Work closely with local site security, facility management, and external security providers to ensure consistent implementation
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
* A degree in Security Management or a related field of study
* At least 5\+ years of experience in Physical Security Governance or Corporate Security
* Demonstrate proven ability to build, implement, and maintain physical security governance frameworks in complex, international organizations, with experience in high\-security environments such as manufacturing, laboratories, or secure operations
* Possess a solid understanding of physical security principles (access control, monitoring, incident handling) and experience with European and/or global physical security regulatory environments
* Show familiarity with physical access controls, surveillance practices, and security operations, including an understanding of combined cyber\-physical threats and business\-critical infrastructure
* Have experience with international regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, TAPA, AEO, C\-TPAT, etc.) related to physical security and adjacent areas
* Be fluent in English, with German skills considered a plus
