For our manufacturing facility in **Amarante**, we are seeking a Test Equipment Development Engineer to strengthen our teams. **Your key responsibilities:** – Collaborate with development and production teams to define and integrate test requirements throughout the product lifecycle. – Design, develop, and validate production-line test systems for electronic boards and finished products. – Define and implement test procedures and validation protocols to ensure product compliance and traceability. – Develop and implement automated or semi\-automated test benches, ensuring robustness, repeatability, and ease of maintenance. – Continuously maintain and improve existing test systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance. – Provide first-level technical support to production-line teams in case of issues with test systems. – Prepare and update technical documentation, such as electrical schematics, specifications, and operation manuals. – Participate in continuous improvement of test tools, methods, and processes. – Occasional travel to other company sites may be required to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test systems and associated test benches. **Requirements for the role:** – Bachelor’s degree or Higher Technical Diploma in Electronics or Computer Science. – Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment. – Programming: Proficiency in Python; experience with Linux, Jira, and Git. – Solid knowledge of electronics (analog and digital). – Familiarity with In\-Circuit Testing (ICT) and Functional Circuit Testing (FCT) systems. – Basic knowledge of mechanical design and assembly principles. – Proven experience in production or industrial environments. – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Autonomy, organization, and attention to detail. – Excellent communication and teamwork skills. – Willingness to travel occasionally to other production sites (USA, Switzerland, or Portugal). – Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
