Job Summary: The Sales Associate provides proactive and personalized service, focusing on customer loyalty, solution selling, in-depth product knowledge, and section management in Penafiel. Section management and organization for an attractive presentation #### **Store: Penafiel** #### **Your day\-to\-day** * I deliver proactive, personalized, and mobile service, building the foundation for a relationship of trust that ensures the loyalty of the Resident Customer; * I am responsible for solution selling to the Customer, anticipating and accurately identifying the Resident Customer’s needs, supporting\-him\-her in selecting the best solution (product \+ complements \+ service) to meet those needs; * I possess in-depth knowledge of my section’s product range and its complements, conveying confidence and professionalism to the Resident Customer; * I ensure my linear is Clean, Signposted, and Safe, striving for an attractive presentation of products on shelves/podiums, as well as all didactic materials and informative signage in the section (labels and pricing); * I contribute to maintaining high stock quality in my section, implementing necessary action plans to address AVS, non-viable items, excess stock, and visual stockouts, ensuring effective communication with the Store Logistics team; * I proactively conduct self\-audits of the aisle(s) under my responsibility, promoting cleanliness of displays, linears, aisles, and advisory points; * I support complaint management, SPV processes, and returns. #### **Who we are looking for** * Educational qualifications equivalent to 12th grade / Technical Professional Course; * 1 to 2 years of experience as a sales associate; * Interest in technical products and their application; * Good user-level computer skills; * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team; * Excellent communication skills, strong business and results orientation; * Initiative, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit; * Passion for customers and their needs. #### **What we offer** * Integration into a multinational company offering a competitive salary and variable compensation, adjusted to your experience and qualifications; * Benefits and partnerships with over 200 brands; * Initial training for integration into the company and role; * Well\-being policies, including up to 30 annual leave days; * Employee referral program with incentives for each recommended candidate who joins the team; * Flexible working policy; * Meal benefits, including soup, fresh fruit, bread, butter, cereals, milk, and yogurts; * 10% discount at Leroy Merlin stores; * Health and life insurance; * 1 day of corporate volunteering. #### **About us** Leroy Merlin is a market leader in DIY, construction, decoration, and gardening, with a strong presence in Portugal.
