We are supporting a **civil construction company based in Guimarães and currently undergoing expansion**, in the recruitment of a **Site Supervisor / Team Leader (M/F)**. We seek a professional with solid practical experience in civil construction, capable of assuming responsibility for coordinating on-site work while maintaining a truly operational stance. More than someone who merely oversees execution, we seek an individual who knows the site firsthand, anticipates needs, solves problems, and — whenever necessary — **rolls up their sleeves and works side-by-side with the team**. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate, organize, and supervise the on-site team daily; * Assign tasks and ensure correct execution of work; * Participate directly in construction work whenever necessary; * Read and interpret drawings and project plans; * Perform measurements and support work preparation; * Plan and monitor project progress; * Monitor deadlines and costs associated with execution; * Identify technical issues and propose solutions; * Ensure coordination with management and the responsible engineer; * Attend monitoring and inspection meetings whenever required; * Support and guide less experienced team members; * Guarantee continuity, organization, and productivity of on-site work. **Candidate Profile** * Proven professional experience in the civil construction sector, preferably **10 or more years**; * Practical on-site experience, especially in heavy construction; * Solid knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings; * Ability to perform measurements and understand work execution; * Experience or aptitude for team coordination; * Planning and organizational skills; * Autonomy and strong problem-solving ability; * Sense of responsibility and commitment; * Ability to motivate, guide, and work side-by-side with the team; * Strong communication skills in Portuguese; * **Valid driver’s license required**.
