Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks for efficiency ### **Job description** Daily rate: 315 * Hybrid: 3x/week on site, **Porto, Portugal** \- The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for managing and optimizing mission\-critical trading infrastructure at a global level, ensuring high reliability and performance across all environments. The role also covers the efficient adoption of cloud\-based services and requires direct collaboration with business leaders, software developers, and network engineers to continuously improve the trading platform's technology foundation. \- * Hybrid: 3x/week on site, **Porto, Portugal** ### **Requirements** **Goals and Deliverables** * Oversee the trading infrastructure globally, ensuring uptime, reliability, and performance at all times * Provide infrastructure expertise and technical support to the software development team * Collaborate with the broader infrastructure team to align specific needs with Group policies and compliance requirements * Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks to ensure consistency and efficiency across a heavily distributed environment * Research emerging technologies and contribute to the definition of the technology roadmap **Experienced Required** * Proven track record supporting mission\-critical server infrastructure in production environments * Hands\-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL, SLES or equivalent enterprise distributions) * Experience with OS performance tuning in the context of low\-latency applications * Practical knowledge of virtualization and container technologies * Background in server hardware management, data center build\-outs, and OS migrations * Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python and shell scripting **\-** * Exposure to provisioning tools such as Ansible or Puppet is a strong asset * Windows and NAS administration experience is a plus **\-** * **Mandatory** * Linux system administration (RHEL/SLES) * Ansible (infrastructure automation) * OS performance tuning for low\-latency environments * Production\-grade mission\-critical infrastructure support * **Strong Pluses** * Puppet (configuration management) * Python scripting * Unix/Shell scripting * Virtualization and container technologies * Server hardware/data center operations experience **Contact** * **Email:** **costa.neto@littlebigconnection.com** * **WhatsApp:** **\+351 21 020 9908**
