We operate nationwide to stay close to our clients and candidates. **Description** We are recruiting for an elite technology client with an office in Porto, seeking a Senior Product Owner specialized in AI Products. **Responsibilities** Unlike traditional PO roles, you will join a structure where the Engineering and Data Science teams develop models from scratch. In this role, you will be at the center of a large-scale AI operation. The primary focus is managing products that extract, interpret, and structure complex information (resumes, job postings, and skills data). You will serve as the strategic link between top-tier engineering and real-world market value delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** * Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams to define priorities and technical approaches. * Backlog Leadership: Lead refinement and sprint planning for complex initiatives, ensuring the team understands the impact of each feature. * Partnership with Data Science: Work side-by-side with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to shape experiences, interpret model outputs, and prioritize improvements. * Dependency Management: Identify and resolve cross-team blockers before they impact delivery. * Escalation Resolution: Manage critical customer or internal situations, balancing urgency against roadmap commitments. **Profile** * 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, with proven track record managing complex and scalable products. * Practical experience with Machine Learning: Beyond understanding what AI produces, you must comprehend how models are built, trained, and evaluated. * Strong technical foundation and ability to engage engineers at their level, understanding system architecture and its limitations. * Direct experience working with external customers, demonstrating ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. * Autonomy and resilience, capable of operating effectively in complex and ambiguous environments. * Fluent English (professional level), both written and spoken. * Proactive use of AI tools to accelerate workflow, while retaining full responsibility for final quality. **Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)** * Familiarity with information retrieval systems (e.g., Elasticsearch / OpenSearch / Graph Databases). * Knowledge of taxonomies, ontologies, or knowledge bases. * Experience in HR Tech, recruitment, or ATS platforms. * Sensitivity to AI compliance issues in product development. **Why This Opportunity?** * Real Impact: Opportunity to shape the future of a technology defining standards across the global recruitment industry. * Engineering Culture: Work alongside a team that builds its own proprietary intellectual property. * Dynamic Environment: A culture that values autonomy, absence of rigid "playbooks", and continuous innovation.
