The venue features both indoor and outdoor seating areas, each offering privileged views of the Douro River, delivering a truly sensory experience to our guests. Our excellence in service combines with the unique charm of kilometer 43 along the Douro River. We are located in Sebolido, a parish within the municipality of Penafiel, in an environment where gastronomy, wine, and landscape harmonize perfectly. **About the Role** We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join the Sirga Wine & Bistrô team. This role plays an essential part in shaping the customer experience by ensuring attentive, professional, and high-quality service. Key Responsibilities: * Greet customers warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menu explanations whenever necessary; * Take orders accurately and communicate effectively with the kitchen team; assist in beverage preparation to ensure swift service; * Serve food and beverages at the table, applying service techniques developed during onboarding; * Set up and organize tables, maintaining a clean, orderly, and functional space; * Attend to customers attentively and immediately report any complaints or issues to the supervisor; * Adhere to all operational standards and conduct guidelines to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. **Candidate Profile** * The ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: * Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry; * Good command of English (knowledge of additional languages is an asset); * Strong teamwork skills and effective communication abilities; * Passion for customer service and attention to detail. **What We Offer** At Sirga Wine & Bistrô, we value our people and believe in cultivating a positive, dynamic, and motivating work environment where every team member feels recognized and encouraged to grow.
