The venue features both indoor and outdoor seating areas, both offering privileged views of the Douro River, delivering a truly sensory experience to our guests. Our excellence in service is paired with the unique charm of kilometer 43 along the Douro River. We are located in Sebolido, a parish within the municipality of Penafiel, in an environment where gastronomy, wine, and landscape harmonize perfectly. **About the Role** We are seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join the team at Sirga Wine & Bistrô. This role plays an essential part in the guest experience, ensuring attentive, professional, and high-quality service. Key responsibilities: * Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menu explanations whenever necessary; * Take orders accurately and communicate effectively with the kitchen team; assist in beverage preparation for swift service; * Serve food and beverages at the table, applying service techniques developed during onboarding; * Set up and organize tables, ensuring a clean, orderly, and functional space; * Attend to guests attentively, promptly reporting any complaints or issues to the supervisor; * Adhere to all operational policies and conduct guidelines, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction. **Candidate Profile** * The ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: * Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry; * Good command of English (knowledge of additional languages is an asset); * Ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills; * Passion for customer service and attention to detail. **What We Offer** At Sirga Wine & Bistrô, we value people and believe in cultivating a positive, dynamic, and motivating work environment where every team member feels recognized and encouraged to grow.
