This role plays a key part in operating and maintaining our combustion and energy production plant, ensuring its continuous and efficient operation under rotating shift schedules. **Responsibilities – Your Mission** * **Operation and control**: Ensure operational control of the combustion and energy production plant, guaranteeing its continuous and efficient operation; * **Preventive and corrective maintenance**: Carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance interventions on electromechanical equipment at the plant; * **Shift rounds**: Conduct regular equipment inspections, monitoring operational parameters and recording incidents; * **Fault diagnosis and resolution**: Detect, analyze, and resolve anomalies and failures in the plant’s systems, minimizing downtime; * **Activity logging**: Document all interventions, incidents, and relevant operational parameters; * **Compliance with standards**: Ensure adherence to applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards. **Qualifications** **Academic Qualifications:** * Technical-Professional Course or Level IV in Electromechanics. **Technical Skills:** * Training in steam generator operation; * Solid knowledge of electromechanical maintenance; * Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; * Knowledge of automation and control systems; * Industrial environment experience (preferred). **Behavioral Skills:** * Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; * Responsibility and rigor in task execution; * Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations; * Availability for rotating shift work; * Safety orientation and commitment to sound operational practices; * Proactivity in identifying and resolving problems. **Additional Information** **What We Offer:** * Full-time employment on rotating shifts (14:00–22:00; 06:00–14:00; 22:00–06:00); * Integration into a company committed to ecological transformation; * Challenging projects with real environmental impact; * A dynamic and collaborative work environment; * Continuous training and professional development opportunities; * Remuneration commensurate with the role and demonstrated experience; **Location:** Veolia Energy Recovery – Porto **Contract Type:** Permanent **Become an Agent of Ecological Transformation!
