Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle developer to design and optimize Data Warehouses, build complex reports, and modernize legacy systems in an agile environment, with a focus on the financial sector. Key Highlights: 1. Develop Data Warehouse using Oracle 19c and advanced PL/SQL 2. Modernize legacy systems and optimize SQL/PL/SQL performance 3. Collaborate with business stakeholders and participate in data modeling **Main Responsibilities** * **Develop a Data Warehouse** using Oracle Database 19c Enterprise Edition. * **Write PL/SQL code** for data movement, transformation, and reporting. * **Create complex reports** for areas such as Risk, Finance, and Regulatory. * **Collaborate with business users** to understand requirements and data flows. * **Modernize legacy systems** (refactoring for improved performance and scalability). * **Follow company development best practices** (clean, maintainable code). * **Optimize SQL and PL/SQL**, leveraging advanced features such as: + Parallelism + Partitioning + Compression + Analytic functions * **Analyze and improve performance** using tools such as ASH (Active Session History) and Real\-Time SQL Monitoring. * **Participate in data modeling**, using Kimball, Data Vault, or 3NF methodologies. * **Work in an agile manner**, participate in design reviews, and mentor other developers. **✅ Mandatory Requirements** * **Solid experience (5\+ years)** with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. * **Knowledge of data modeling**, both dimensional (Kimball) and normalized (3NF). * **Advanced SQL proficiency**: analytic functions, hierarchical queries, complex joins, etc. * **Experience with tuning and troubleshooting** using Oracle tools (e.g., AWR, ASH). * **Proactive and detail-oriented profile**, with strong English communication skills. **➕ Nice-to-Have (not mandatory but valued)** * Experience in the **financial or insurance sector**. * Familiarity with **Git** (version control). * Proficiency in **Python** programming. * Experience with **Oracle APEX** (Oracle Application Express) for web applications. * Interest in **complex financial products** (e.g., derivatives). **What They Look for in Terms of Profile** * A **technical and experienced** candidate who can also effectively engage with business stakeholders. * A **collaborative profile**, comfortable working in an agile team. * Ability to **analyze complex problems** and design scalable solutions. * Interest (or background) in the **financial sector**, especially regulatory topics. **Conclusion** This role is ideal for someone with: * Solid experience in **Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL)**; * Experience in **Data Warehousing and data modeling**; * Skills to **optimize performance** and handle large volumes of data; * Interest or experience in the **financial/regulatory sector**.
