Coimbra Board Game. Used only once. Delivery options: - Pickup in Amadora – free - OLX delivery – €5 Description It is the Age of Discovery, and Portugal’s greatest cities are thriving as never before: Lisbon, Porto, and especially Coimbra, home to its famous university. As head of one of the city’s leading Houses, the player realizes that rapid growth is also creating some insecurity among citizens. To win their favor, you place your men at the city’s disposal—to protect the most important councilors, merchants, clergymen, and academics—since not everyone can be persuaded by money. There are multiple ways to win: whether focusing on amassing wealth, recruiting new guards, advancing academically, improving relations with nearby monasteries, or investing in exploration expeditions—the ultimate victors will be those who discover and exploit the various synergies each game offers. Above all, the struggle for Coimbra’s most influential citizens remains thrilling, thanks to a unique dice system where each die not only determines turn order and bribery costs but also specifies the type of reward players receive. After four rounds, the game ends, and the player with the most points wins.
