About the Construction Inspector Role Our client company, a leader in engineering and civil construction, is currently recruiting a Construction Inspector: Main Responsibilities Supervise and inspect construction work execution, ensuring compliance with designs and technical specifications. Verify adherence to defined deadlines and report any deviations. Control the quality of materials and executed works. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations on site. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Review measurements, measurement certificates, and quantity schedules. Identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions. Prepare progress and monitoring reports for the construction project. Support validation of design changes and their respective impacts. Participate in site meetings and ensure documentation of decisions made. Requirements Profile and Requirements Technical or higher education degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Relevant experience in similar roles. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to construction. Organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in computer tools (Office suite and, preferably, technical software).
