We are looking for someone who: Brings multidisciplinary engineering experience and a proactive approach to bid development. Has strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a keen eye for technical and commercial detail. Excels in a fast\-paced environment, managing multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Is collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors. Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and a drive for continuous learning in the evolving field of data center infrastructure. Is passionate about innovation, sustainability, and delivering high\-performance engineering solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in design, estimation, or bidding of data centers or other mission\-critical facilities. Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM; plus relevant design tools such as ETAP or CFD software depending on discipline. Strong understanding of Tier III/IV data center design and redundancy concepts. Knowledge of building systems, construction methodologies, and regulatory codes applicable to CSA and MEP disciplines. Excellent technical writing, communication, and documentation skills. Strong organizational and coordination capabilities across multidisciplinary teams. · Proficiency in English is mandatory. Other Languages are also a plus. Excellent team working skills and a positive, pro\-active attitude. Responsibilities (but are not limited to): Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications across Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA), Mechanical, and Electrical systems. Identify scope, exclusions, risks, and optimization opportunities within bid packages. Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for CSA, HVAC, Cooling solutions (CRAC, CRAH, in\-row cooling, chilled water systems), plumbing, fire protection, MV\-LV power distribution, UPS, generators, and other systems. Develop or review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) aligned with design documentation and project specifications. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate technical and commercial quotations. Prepare complete bid packages including technical and commercial proposals, compliance matrices, layouts, and narratives. Develop design concepts and system schematics in line with client requirements and data center standards. Support value engineering by proposing alternative materials, systems, or methods that reduce cost while maintaining performance. Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards including NEC, IEEE, IEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, LEED, and Uptime Institute Tier III/IV. Collaborate with internal engineering teams (CSA, MEP, IT) to ensure integrated and clash\-free designs. Participate in site visits, bid clarification meetings, and technical presentations. Maintain a cost database of historical unit rates, materials, and labor benchmarks for ongoing bid efficiency.
