Benefit from strong operational support in HR, Finance, and Logistics **Restaurant Manager \- Rosamar** **Vida Plena** is an innovative hospitality group founded in Lisbon in 2018, dedicated to making our guests and team feel truly at home. We pride ourselves on delivering warm, blissful experiences, fostering a diverse and inclusive atmosphere, serving top\-quality fresh food, and providing exceptional service. **The Role** Rosamar is a feeling — the sizzle of the grill, a perfectly shucked oyster, a terrace that makes people lose track of time. As our **Restaurant Manager**, you're the one who makes that consistent. You lead a passionate team with calm authority and high standards, champion our commitment to sustainable, local seafood, and ensure every guest leaves having experienced something genuinely special. **Your Key Responsibilities** * Own the guest experience, ensuring every service feels warm, attentive, consistent, and aligned with Rosamar's hospitality standards. * Ensure the execution of Rosamar brand standards, service rituals, operational policies, and the attitude that reflects the venue's relaxed, elegant, seafood\-led identity. * Lead with strong operational presence on key days, peak shifts, terrace moments, and events, staying close to service flow, guest needs, and team performance. * Oversee both floor and bar operations, ensuring service quality, product consistency, ambience, communication, and team coordination throughout each shift. * Manage team scheduling from planning to publication, ensuring shifts are well organized, communicated, and aligned with business levels and key operational moments. * Control absences in the HRIS and review team clock\-in and clock\-out records before designated payroll dates, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and timely follow\-up. * Lead core team management processes, including onboarding and induction, performance management and reviews, vacation planning, team organization, and input on contract renewals. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards by monitoring HACCP protocols, enforcing hygiene practices, and maintaining operational discipline. * Ensure proper opening and closing procedures, including venue readiness, team briefings, floor and bar setup, stock checks, equipment checks, handovers, and end\-of\-day documentation. **What We Expect From You** * At least 3 years of experience in hospitality, with proven leadership and management experience in high\-quality, guest\-focused operations. * Strong experience managing both restaurant floor and bar service. * Confident leading busy services, terrace operations, events, and high\-pressure operational moments with calm, structure, and presence. * Strong understanding of FOH and BOH coordination, team management, scheduling, HRIS routines, payroll\-related processes, and daily operational controls. * Inspiring, supportive, and decisive leadership style, able to motivate, guide, and align a diverse team. * Strong sense of brand standards, service consistency, and guest experience. * Natural alignment with Rosamar's warm, relaxed, quality\-driven hospitality culture. * Confident working in a seafood\-led restaurant environment, with appreciation for product quality, seasonality, and clear guest communication. * Clear and charismatic communicator who connects easily with staff, guests, HQ, and the Leadership Team. * Strong planning, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Solid understanding of HACCP, health and safety, sanitation, and operational standards. * Fluent in English; Portuguese or other local language skills are a plus. * Reliable, guest\-centric, and hands\-on, leading with confidence, care, and consistency. ##### **What You'll Love About Working Here** At Vida Plena, you are not just taking a position; you are joining a community that values joy, respect, genuine hospitality, and the collective pursuit of excellence. At Rosamar, you will have the opportunity to lead a recognized, high\-quality venue with a strong identity, a beautiful guest experience, and a passionate team. You will work with carefully sourced products, support a culture of care and consistency, and help shape memorable moments for guests through warm service, strong standards, and thoughtful leadership. You will also benefit from strong operational support across key areas such as HR, Finance, and Logistics, giving you the structure to focus on leading the team, strengthening service, and growing as a hospitality leader. ##### **A flavor of your first 100 days at Vida Plena** At Vida Plena, leadership is about presence — being there for the team, anticipating needs, and guiding with clarity and purpose. In your first 100 days, you will focus on aligning people, processes, standards, and performance to build a strong foundation for the venue. * **Immerse** — Understand Vida Plena's culture, Rosamar's brand standards, guest philosophy, seafood\-led concept, terrace rhythm, and how excellence and empathy shape every decision. * **Lead** — Build trust with your team, establish clear communication, and set expectations that reflect Vida Plena's values and Rosamar's hospitality style. * **Be Present** — Ensure strong visibility during key days, peak shifts, terrace moments, and events, using those moments to coach the team and support service flow. * **Structure** — Review scheduling, HRIS routines, timekeeping, vacation planning, performance touchpoints, and contract renewal processes to create consistency. * **Elevate** — Strengthen service standards, team training, product knowledge, operational routines, and guest experience through practical feedback and clear follow\-up. **Empower** — Support your team through coaching, recognition, and fair performance management, ensuring alignment across all roles. * **Connect** — Build strong relationships with the team, encouraging trust, open communication, and a friendly, supportive environment.
