Position:
We are seeking a Junior Equipment Designer to join our team in Lisbon, working on-site full-time.
This role is intended for professionals interested in developing solutions for furniture, exhibition stands, and display structures, overseeing all project phases—from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Development of 2D technical drawings and support for solution modeling;
* Design of custom furniture and display elements;
* Preparation of floor plans, elevations, and construction details;
* Support in budgeting and preparation of material lists;
* Liaison with suppliers and production oversight;
* Planning and organization of various project phases;
* Collaboration with design, production, and assembly teams;
* Ensuring the technical and functional quality of developed solutions.
Profile:
* Higher education degree in Equipment Design, Product Design, Architecture, or related field;
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in CAD technical drawing;
* Strong spatial awareness and ability to read floor plans and elevations;
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials (wood, metal, printing, etc.);
* Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
* Attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility;
* Team spirit, autonomy, and proactivity;
* Ability to work in dynamic environments with tight deadlines;
* Willingness to travel occasionally.
Competencies:
* Proficiency in CAD software for 2D drawing;
* Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
* Fluent English (spoken and written);
* Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering;
* Experience in exhibition stands, events, furniture, or technical carpentry;
* Familiarity with modular exhibition systems (e.g., Octanorm);
* Ability to oversee projects from concept to production.
