As Perishables Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Butchery, Fishmongery, Fruits and Vegetables, and OPLS departments, ensuring excellence in managing critical business variables (sales, stock, shrinkage, HACCP, and customer experience), directly contributing to the store’s success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ambassador of fresh produce quality, ensuring every product reaches the customer at peak freshness, flavor, and food safety. Manage and coordinate teams across departments, ensuring efficiency, results focus, and passion for their work. Lead business KPIs (sales, stock, pricing, shrinkage), anticipating needs and aligning offerings with professional customers’ profiles. Inspire and develop people, building specialized and motivated teams. Comply with strict hygiene, food safety (HACCP), and occupational health standards. Promote customer relationships by tailoring solutions to ensure their business success. CANDIDATE PROFILE Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree. Solid experience in similar roles, preferably within food distribution or specialized retail of fresh products. Leadership capability with a results orientation, combined with commitment to developing and valuing team members. Strong commercial orientation and strategic business vision. Excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS), HACCP, stock management, and perishable goods handling. Availability for flexible shifts and rotating days off.
