Monitor audiovisual equipment setup in banquet and meeting rooms. Verify that all audiovisual equipment is functional; repair or clean as needed. Tag any damaged equipment and report issues to a manager/supervisor. Secure and conceal all cables. Ensure that provided equipment and room setup match the event order. Inform a manager/supervisor of any additions or deletions made to layouts. Assist and advise clients on the proper operation/use of audiovisual equipment; promote and sell additional audiovisual services; and periodically monitor equipment usage. Distribute, retrieve, and secure unused equipment. Read, understand, and comply with the Marriott Visual Productions (MVP) Program Operations Manual. Follow and implement all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management. Follow and implement all brand policies and procedures; wear a clean and complete uniform at all times; maintain a neat and professional appearance in the workplace at all times; respect confidentiality when sharing information related to the brand and/or hotel; and protect all company property. Greet and welcome guests according to brand standards; anticipate and respond to guest needs; and thank guests warmly. Use clear and courteous language in all communications. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; collaborate and support one another to achieve common goals. Comply with quality requirements and standards. Ability to grasp, rotate, manipulate, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place loads weighing up to 23 kilograms. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery.
