At DXC Technology, we are looking for an **AWS** **Cloud Engineer** to join our fantastic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring cloud technologies. Working closely with our architects, you will contribute to the development and deployment of cloud\-based solutions. Additionally, you will support the efficient operation and maintenance of these solutions, ensuring their reliability and performance. **Tasks:** * Accountable for delivering, maintaining, and optimizing Cloud Platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and related infrastructure, network, database, and middleware capabilities to support and enable the development of Cloud projects and operations. * Accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the operational capacity, availability, and performance of the Cloud solutions against SLAs from a level two and level three support perspective. * Accountable for deploying new projects in the existing Cloud infrastructure. * Drive technical discussions with public cloud providers to anticipate and align long\-term capacity and performance needs. You’ll regularly review and adjust forecasts to ensure scalable, cost\-effective, and high\-performing cloud infrastructure. **Requirements:** * \>1 year experience in Engineering roles infrastructure \& network design in web\-scale environments * Knowledge in automation and IaaC (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.), version control (e.g. Git), CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, or TFS, or Travis CI), containers (e.g. Docker, kubernetes or OpenShift), infrastructure testing (e.g. ServerSpec), infrastructure security (e.g. OWASP ZAP), or test automation (e.g. Selenium or Gatling). * Infrastructure \& Network automation and configuration management tools * Public cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies * Network knowledge and network management experience in a large data center environment, preferably * Highly cross\-functional and able to swap and perform adjacent roles and responsibilities at short notice * Strong relationship building, persuasion, and collaboration skills that drive effective constructive feedback and support * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil difficult technical concepts into simple and actionable practices **What will you find at DXC?** * Health insurance for you and your family * Professional development * Leading projects for market reference clients * Flexibility and work\-life balance * Access to DXC University with unlimited certifications At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
