Coordinates, guides, and supervises the activities of workers under their oversight; assigns tasks to supervised workers according to ongoing work requirements, coordinates and monitors their performance, and ensures compliance with applicable rules and regulations; identifies mechanical faults in vehicles; repairs, adjusts, assembles, and disassembles components of light and heavy gasoline or diesel vehicles, as well as other motorized or non-motorized equipment; performs other general mechanical tasks; adjusts, tests, and road-tests repaired vehicles; maintains and monitors vehicles, machinery, and their respective engines; carries out maintenance operations under their responsibility during vehicle inspections, based on the Preventive Maintenance Plan. May, when necessary, collaborate with other areas of the auto workshop—e.g., supporting electrical systems, lubrication, and vehicle cleaning—or assist in maintaining and cleaning facilities.
