Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing customer loyalty to Marriott. Identify opportunities to sell customers higher-tier services and upgrades to enhance their Marriott experience or event. Encourage customers or contacts to purchase a package or schedule a sales tour. Explain the details and requirements for attending a sales presentation with potential owners. Verify that individuals meet eligibility requirements for packages and sales tours before scheduling a property visit at Marriott Vacation Club. Determine and provide gifts to customers as appreciation for their patronage (e.g., reward points, show tickets). Respond to customer inquiries regarding property facilities and services. Receive, record, and relay accurate, complete, and legible messages. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure wearing a clean and complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times while on duty; respect confidentiality when disseminating information specific to the brand and/or hotel; protect all company assets. Greet and welcome all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customer service needs; thank customers with genuine appreciation. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and review written documents accurately and thoroughly; answer the phone using proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive, constructive professional relationships with peers; unite and support one another to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds (4.5 kg) without assistance. Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.
