Our core areas: ➡ Quantitative Finance ➡ Risk \& Compliance ➡ Operations \& Finance ➡ Transformation \& Organization ➡ Information Systems **We are looking for a Mainframe Production Support Engineer (N2\)** **MAIN TASKS** * Provide Level 2 support for critical Mainframe (z/OS) production environments. * Monitor, schedule and manage batch processing activities using IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS). * Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues and execute job restarts when required. * Ensure the availability, stability and performance of Mainframe applications and services. * Support application deployments, production releases and change management activities. * Manage file transfers and data exchanges through Connect:Direct (CFT) and IBM MQ. * Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to resolve operational issues efficiently. * Create and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation and knowledge articles. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence practices. * Promote DevOps culture and act as a technical liaison between multiple IT team * **YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS** * Proven experience in Mainframe Production Support, Application Support or Operations environments. * Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS operating systems. * Mandatory experience with JCL (Job Control Language). * Hands\-on experience with TWS (IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler) or similar scheduling tools. * Good knowledge of ISPF, SDSF and TSO. * Experience supporting CICS environments. * Knowledge of DB2 and SQL queries using SPUFI. * Familiarity with IMS and VSAM datasets. * Experience with IBM MQ (MQ Series) and file transfer solutions such as Connect:Direct (CFT). * Good understanding of incident, problem and change management processes. * Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools. * Knowledge of ITIL v4 principles and best practices. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work in production\-critical environments and manage priorities efficiently. * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams. * Fluency in English (written and spoken). * Hybrid position based in Porto. **WHAT WE OFFER** * This role offers a gross annual salary between **22\.000€ and 65\.000€**, defined according to the candidate's experience and competencies. * Permanent contract (CTI). * Meal allowance. * Health Insurance. * Extra holiday: Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. * Access to Quanteam Academy for continuous learning and certifications. * Elevate Program to support professional development and career growth. * Career progression plan. * Ongoing follow\-up and technical support provided by a Consultant Expert.
