NTT DATA Portugal is currently seeking professionals with distinctive expertise and a positive attitude matching the following profile: * Higher education degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; * Proven experience of over 2 years in Java development; * Profile oriented toward researching and testing new solutions/integrating them into existing architectures; * Experience managing teams (preferred); * Teamwork capability; * Preference for familiarity with Agile methodologies; * Ability to train/mentor junior team members; * Integration into an extended architecture team. **Technical Skills:** * Java EE architecture in MVC monolithic and microservices projects; * Application servers: Apache Tomcat and JBOSS/WildFly (Oracle WebLogic and/or WebSphere are preferred); * Experience with SOAP and REST web services; * Database persistence knowledge (JPA, Hibernate, EclipseLink, and/or Spring Data Framework); * Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL; * Familiarity with source code version control tools (SVN and/or GIT); * Knowledge of Apache Maven; * Knowledge of Java Spring Framework (Spring Security, Spring Boot, Spring Services, and Spring Data).
