To support our continuous growth, we are looking for a rigorous, detail\-oriented, and motivated **Accountant** to join our finance team in Lisbon. ### **Key Responsibilities** In this role, you will be an integral part of our finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across our luxury retail and hospitality operations. Your main tasks will include: * **Day\-to\-Day Accounting:** Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, bank statements, and general ledger entries. * **Month\-End \& Year\-End Closing:** Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines. * **Tax Compliance:** Preparing and submitting statutory tax returns (VAT, IRC, Retentions, and other local tax obligations). * **Asset Management:** Monitoring fixed assets, depreciations, and inventory accounting, particularly coordinating with retail and F\&B teams. * **Intercompany Reconciliation:** Managing and reconciling balances between different business units within the group. * **Audit Support:** Assisting with external and internal audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations. ### **Profile \& Requirements** We are looking for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a strong sense of responsibility: * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field. * **Experience:** **2 to 3 years** of proven experience in accounting, ideally within the retail, hospitality, or luxury sectors.
