Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support clients, classify and record accounting documentation, perform reconciliations, and prepare tax returns. Key Highlights: 1. Practical accounting training in a real-world context What We Look for in Candidates * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; * Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting classification and journal entry processing within an accounting firm; * Registration with the Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants (OCC) (preferred); * Solid academic background and knowledge in Accounting; * Familiarity with Toconline software (desirable); * Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office), especially Excel; * Knowledge of English; * Strong sense of responsibility; * Proactivity and ability to independently carry out tasks; * Adaptability and strong capacity to learn new software; * High commitment to deadlines and scheduled obligations; * Excellent organizational skills; * Flexibility and versatility in work; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Immediate availability. Responsibilities * Client support; * Verification, classification, and recording of accounting documentation; * Execution of bank reconciliations; * Verification of supplier/customer and third-party current accounts; * Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns; VAT summary statement; Model 30; DMIS; * Year-end closing procedures and preparation of financial statements.
