Job Summary: We are seeking a Head Waiter / Chef de Rang to ensure service excellence, coordinate the team, and guarantee a welcoming and professional experience at our Luso-Moroccan restaurant. We are looking for a Head Waiter / Chef de Rang to join our Luso-Moroccan restaurant, Arady Restaurante. You will be responsible for ensuring service excellence in the dining room, coordinating the front-of-house team, welcoming guests, and ensuring that every aspect of the restaurant experience is welcoming, efficient, and professional. Key Responsibilities: -Coordinate and supervise dining room service, ensuring adherence to the restaurant’s quality standards. -Welcome and assist guests, providing personalized and courteous service. -Manage reservations, table assignments, and optimize service flow. -Support and train the front-of-house team, fostering strong team spirit. -Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar, ensuring clear communication and seamless service. -Proactively resolve any issues or complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. -Monitor and supervise dining room setup, cleanliness, and presentation. -Manage inventories of beverages, dining room supplies, and service utensils. -Plan and carry out restocking, and assist or conduct purchasing processes in coordination with management. -Monitor costs and consumption, contributing to restaurant efficiency and profitability. -Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards in the dining room. Required Profile: -Proven experience as Head Waiter and in Fine Dining, -Chef de Rang or similar role. -Knowledge of wines, table service, and restaurant protocol. -Excellent communication and team management skills. -Strong customer orientation and attention to detail. -Good organizational and problem-solving abilities. -Fluency in Portuguese and English (knowledge of French, Spanish, Moroccan Darija, and other languages is an asset).
