Strategic development and funding acquisition **Purpose of the Role** The Project and Capacity-Building Manager is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing the Community Integration Center’s capacity-building projects, activities, and programs, ensuring their technical quality, methodological coherence, and alignment with the Association’s strategy and the Technical Directorate’s guidelines. The role contributes to the Center’s intervention development, innovation, and sustainability by supporting the identification of funding opportunities, the preparation of funding applications, and the systematization of practices, methodologies, and knowledge generated through interventions. The role works in close coordination with the technical team to deliver integrated responses targeting children, youth, families, and the community. **Responsibilities and Tasks** **Cooperation with SOS Children's Villages Organization** * Identify with the organization’s values, mission, and vision; * Apply a child rights-based approach; * Know and comply with the Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct, and ensure professional confidentiality; * Safeguard the protection and well-being of children and youth, reporting relevant situations; * Maintain cooperative relationships with the team and other staff members; * Follow defined procedures and ensure timely reporting of relevant information to the Technical Directorate. **Project and Capacity-Building Development** * Design, plan, and structure capacity-building activities, projects, and programs in accordance with identified needs and the Center’s strategic pillars; * Develop technical content, methodologies, tools, and support materials for activities, ensuring their quality, consistency, and appropriateness; * Support the implementation, organization, and monitoring of projects developed by the Center; * Systematize methodologies, practices, and learnings arising from interventions, contributing to their consolidation, continuous improvement, and replicability; * Collaborate in designing new intervention models and approaches, promoting technical innovation. **Funding and Strategic Development** * Identify funding opportunities in coordination with the Technical Directorate; * Support the preparation, submission, and monitoring of funding applications; * Contribute to the Center’s strategic development by creating and structuring new projects; * Support dissemination processes for developed practices and methodologies, promoting institutional recognition of generated knowledge. **Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality** * Monitor activity and project implementation, ensuring achievement of defined objectives; * Collect, analyze, and systematize relevant information for evaluating activity impact; * Ensure compliance with internal procedures for recordkeeping, monitoring, and reporting; * Produce technical reports and other documents supporting intervention management and evaluation. **Technical Intervention and Coordination** * Participate in organizing and delivering activities and initiatives targeting children, youth, and the community; * Work closely with the Community Integration Facilitator and other team members to ensure integrated and appropriate responses to identified needs; * Support internal and external capacity-building processes, contributing to competency development among various stakeholders. **Requirements** **Education and Experience** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences or Humanities (preferably Psychology, Social Work, Social Education, Sociology, or related fields); * Relevant professional experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating social intervention projects, preferably targeting children, youth, and families; * Experience in designing and facilitating capacity-building initiatives and developing training content; * Experience in preparing and monitoring funding applications (preferred); * Knowledge of project planning, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies; * Proficiency in end-user-oriented computer tools; * Driver’s license (preferred). **Profile** * Strong orientation toward technical quality of interventions; * Ability to innovate and develop projects; * High organizational and planning capacity; * Analytical thinking and strategic vision; * Autonomy, proactivity, and results orientation; * Commitment to the rights of children, youth, and families. **Competencies** **Behavioral** * High sense of responsibility and commitment; * Capacity for planning, organization, and priority management; * Critical thinking and analytical ability; * Communication skills and ability to work in teams; * Adaptability and flexibility; * Interpersonal skills and ease of coordination with diverse stakeholders; * Results orientation and continuous improvement mindset. **Technical** * Design, management, and evaluation of social intervention projects; * Development of capacity-building programs and pedagogical materials; * Preparation and monitoring of funding applications; * Project planning, monitoring, and evaluation; * Production of technical content and systematization of methodologies; * Indicator management and reporting; * Knowledge of community intervention methodologies and those targeting children and youth.
