Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations About the Construction Inspector Role Our client company, a leader in civil engineering and construction, is currently recruiting a Construction Inspector: Main Responsibilities Supervise and monitor construction execution, ensuring compliance with design drawings and technical specifications. Verify adherence to scheduled deadlines and report any deviations. Control the quality of materials and completed works. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations on site. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Review measurement records, measurement certificates, and quantity schedules. Identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions. Prepare progress and monitoring reports. Support validation of design changes and assess their impact. Participate in site meetings and ensure minutes of decisions are properly recorded. Requirements Profile and Requirements Technical or higher education degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Relevant professional experience in similar roles. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to construction. Strong organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in computer tools (Office suite and, preferably, technical software).
