Position: Backend Software Engineer – Java Microservices \& Cloud Location: Flexible, 1x per week in the beginning for better integration Main responsibilities: * Take ownership as an engineer within your team for the sustainable development of your products * Work in an interdisciplinary manner with specialist departments and customers * Implement product ideas based on current technologies * Within a DevOps framework, be closely involved in all steps of development from design to operation * Contribute to digital products with tangible results that bring real value every day Requirements: * Science degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or comparable * Team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and finding the best solution for the team, product, and company * First professional experience in software development, ideally in logistics * Expertise in Java 17\+, Spring and Spring Boot, and REST\-based API design * Familiarity with message streaming frameworks such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS * Good knowledge of databases including SQL and PostgreSQL * Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible * Knowledge of cloud environments, particularly Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) * Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes * Experience working in agile teams * Good English skills, both spoken and written If you think you're a good fit, don't hesitate to apply for this opportunity.
