We are recruiting an Archival Conservation Technician Location: Lisbon Working Hours: 9 a.m.\-6 p.m. Requirements: \- 12th grade education \- Professional experience in archives \- Proven experience in projects involving description of archival holdings for permanent conservation (historical archives) Responsibilities and Technical Description of Activities: · Remove active corrosive agents (metals and rust) · Prevent further physical and chemical damage to paper · Reinforce physical storage and identification of documents · Ensure traceability and correct updating of control documentation (dispatch guide) · Removal of metal fasteners (staples and paper clips) · Mechanical cleaning of rust stains · Housing in paper covers · Identification and housing of covers in boxes · Administrative tasks related to the process What we offer: Employment contract; Bonus; Meal allowance; Special employee benefits.
