You will serve as the central coordination hub for the global EHS management system audit program — connecting sites, EHS specialists, auditors, and certification bodies.** **Choose the best location for your work** \- in alignment with your manager, you may work remotely (within Germany) up to an average of 60% of your working time. **Even more flexibility?** Remote work from abroad is possible for up to 30 days per year under certain conditions and in selected countries. **This position can be based in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, and Turkey.** **Your responsibilities:** * You are responsible for the global internal audit program of the EHS management system, including risk-based audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Siemens Healthineers’ EHS requirements. * In coordination with the Global EHS Management System Lead, you act as the interface to external certification bodies and coordinate global audit plans, scopes, documentation, and stakeholder preparation. * You collaborate closely with the Global EHS Management System Lead to drive the digital transformation of the EHS management system — including audit management, document management, KPI monitoring, and reporting. * You support the development and rollout of AI-powered EHS tools (e.g., for incident and hazard reporting, root cause analysis, risk assessments, audits, dashboards) to improve transparency, speed, and decision quality. * You define EHS data models, standards, and KPIs to ensure data quality, traceability, and meaningful reporting for leadership. * You develop training concepts for the Siemens Healthineers EHS management system and deliver them to EHS managers, auditors, and key users (train-the-trainer approach). * You conduct selected internal audits, including structured interviews and on-site walkthroughs, and lead closing meetings with leadership by translating audit findings into clear management conclusions. **Your qualifications and experience:** * You hold a successfully completed university degree in engineering, life sciences, safety, or a related field. * You have extensive professional experience in EHS management within international matrix organizations. * You have proven experience with certified management systems, particularly ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (ISO 50001 and ISO 9001 are advantageous). * You possess solid internal and external audit experience, including planning, coordination, and follow-up. * You hold ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certifications; additional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) are advantageous. * You have a strong understanding of statutory and regulatory EHS requirements. * You have experience with EHS platforms, audit and CAPA tools, KPI reporting, and digitalization of management systems. * You have demonstrable experience applying digital tools, automation, and AI-supported solutions to enhance audit effectiveness and management system performance. **Your profile and skills:** * You have fluent English language skills, both written and spoken. * You are a trusted advisor with high integrity, objectivity, and a value-adding audit mindset. * You work highly analytically and systematically, with strong capabilities in root cause analysis and systemic thinking. * You are an excellent communicator capable of translating complex EHS topics into clear, actionable insights for leadership. * You are a collaborative team player who actively listens, moderates discussions, and builds trust across functions and cultures. * You act proactively and self-directed, taking ownership in an expert role even without formal leadership responsibilities. * You are curious, learning-oriented, and deeply interested in digitalization, AI, and continuous improvement. * You demonstrate confident presence and are able to exert influence across organizational boundaries and resolve conflicts constructively. * You are willing to travel internationally (approx. 30%). **Our global team:** Siemens Healthineers is a globally leading medical technology company.
