**Job Description** **YOUR CHALLENGE!**
As Department Manager at our Makro store in Braga, you will coordinate and supervise all activities and procedures within your department and its respective team, aiming to maximize sales and results while ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty, and service quality.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:**
* Ensuring excellent customer service, attention, and presentation, guaranteeing operational excellence and maximizing sales;
* Analyzing and monitoring departmental performance, establishing action plans to boost sales and tracking market trends;
* Managing products within the department: ordering/replenishment and monitoring performance indicators (e.g., shrinkage, margins, productivity);
* Managing, planning, and implementing promotional offers;
* Supervising the team through individual follow-up, development, and motivation, ensuring each member understands and achieves their goals while maintaining team cohesion and commitment, aligned with business principles;
* Actively participating in defining objectives and monitoring NPS and Voice It results, proposing action plans in coordination with your direct supervisor when necessary; keeping the team informed about departmental performance, always prioritizing profitability, team engagement, and customer satisfaction;
* Team management: scheduling work hours, managing attendance and vacation bookings in compliance with internal and legal procedures, performance evaluations, training, etc.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree (preferred);
* Experience in team coordination;
* Ability to lead by example;
* Focus on customer success;
* Proficiency in MS Office from an end-user perspective;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* English language knowledge (preferred).
