We are recruiting a **Pastry Chef (M/F)** for our hotel **Westin Salgados Beach Resort**, located in Albufeira. **Main Responsibilities:** * Decorate and finish pastry products creatively and aesthetically to ensure visually appealing presentations; * Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure freshness, tastiness, and compliance with established food safety and quality standards; * Monitor ingredient, material, and finished product stock levels in the pastry department, communicating replenishment needs to management or the procurement department to ensure continuous product availability; * Collaborate in the creation and development of new pastry recipes and products by experimenting with ingredients, techniques, and flavor combinations to enrich the menu and delight guests. **Requirements:** \- Minimum education: Secondary Education \- Technological/Professional; * Experience in similar roles; * Team spirit; * Compliance with all food safety standards; * Residence in the area (preferred); * Immediate availability. **We Offer:** * A pleasant work environment and integration into a young and dynamic team; * Competitive salary commensurate with demonstrated experience for the role; * Health insurance; * Holiday bonus based on attendance; * Benefits across Highgate hotels; * Career development and progression opportunities.
