VENEPORTE, a manufacturer of components for the Automotive Industry—specifically Exhaust Systems for automobiles—is recruiting: **TOOLMAKER OPERATOR (m/f)** Job Description: We are looking for a Toolmaker to join our toolmaking team. This professional will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, operating machine tools (lathe, milling machine, and surface grinder), and performing benchwork—including diagnosing anomalies and ensuring technical precision of components. Main Responsibilities: Machine/Tool Operation: Operate conventional lathe, milling machine, and surface grinder for component manufacturing and repair. Material Preparation and Sizing: Prepare and size material for tool and jig machining, ensuring required base tolerances. Benchwork: Perform manual assembly, adjustment, and finishing to high-precision standards. Technical Drawing: Independently interpret technical drawings. Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues in tools, ensuring their functionality. Profile: Proven experience in toolmaking (eliminatory factor). Experience with conventional milling machines and lathes. Experience in tool assembly and fine-tuning. Experience with progressive dies. Experience using measuring instruments and analyzing/interpreting technical drawings. Dedication and organizational skills. Minimum compulsory education level. Residence in the Águeda area (preferred).
