Private cello lessons in Lisbon starting from September. I am a professional Portuguese cellist and teacher with several years of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults. Lessons are individually tailored to each student’s level, goals, and interests—from absolute beginners to advanced musicians. In lessons we can work on: Cello technique Classical repertoire Improvisation and creative music Musicality and interpretation Rhythm, ear training, and musical memory Coordination and concentration Basic music theory Lessons available in Portuguese, English, German, and Spanish. Lesson formats: In-person lessons in Lisbon Home visits possible, with an additional €10 travel fee Online lessons I have a second cello available at my studio for students who do not yet own an instrument Children, teenagers, and adults are all welcome. Beginners and advanced students. Learning the cello does not have to mean only repeating exercises. I aim to combine technique, musicality, listening, creativity, and the joy of making music. I adapt myself individually to the wishes and needs of my students. My focus is not only on the techniques and motor skills of instrumental playing, but always trying to convey musical relationships. The motivation and enthusiasm of my students always come first. I bring all my experience and knowledge to my lessons. In my teaching I also develop skills such as musical hearing and memory, coordination, concentration, rhythm, improvisation and the basics of music theory.
