Patrols, access control, and incident investigations **Contract Duration:** 6 months **Location:** International cruise ships **Position Type:** Full-time, onboard contract **Job Description** We are seeking **Security Guards** with solid experience in private security, armed forces, or public security forces. Selected candidates will join an international team and work in a multicultural environment. **Qualifications and Requirements** * Basic knowledge of the **International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)**. * Ability to recognize, understand, and respond to potential security threats. * Completed and verified training for security roles. * Good physical condition and conflict resolution skills with tact and diplomacy. * Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. * Ability to read, understand, and comply with the Master's Standing Orders, the Ship Security Plan (SSP), Security Standard Procedures, and other security-related procedures. **Main Responsibilities** * Ensure onboard security and compliance with the SSP and Security Procedures. * Control ship access and perform **gangway security** duties. * Conduct security screening of passengers, crew, and visitors—including personal belongings—to prevent prohibited or dangerous items from boarding. * Conduct patrols in Restricted, Controlled, and Vulnerable areas. * Perform rounds in passenger areas. * Investigate incidents, crimes, and protection/safeguarding matters. * Prepare reports and collect statements. * Report all incidents, crimes, and safeguarding situations. * Participate in security trainings, drills, and exercises.
