Our bartenders demonstrate professional expertise and skills specific to the craft while staying abreast of emerging trends, offering local specialties, and adapting to guest needs. This role goes beyond drink creation and remains a profession where guest engagement is paramount. Bartenders must apply their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar is welcoming and operates flawlessly. They must communicate and collaborate effectively with the entire hotel team—and with the broader community—while anticipating and responding to guest needs. A strong commitment to guest service and attention to detail is essential—from the moment money changes hands at the bar, to beverage quality, to the advice provided to guests. Regardless of your role, certain fundamentals are critical to success: creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures or confidentiality requirements. Additionally, safeguarding the company’s values through personal presentation—including uniform standards—is vital. Bartenders must remain standing and moving for extended periods (standing, sitting, walking…), engage physically in tasks (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11.4 kg) unassisted; reaching items overhead or on the floor, which may involve bending and torso rotation). It is essential that employees perform all such tasks with precision. In doing so, our guests will consistently be satisfied and our business will continue to thrive.
