Job Summary:
We are seeking a Biological Control Technician to monitor pests and diseases, support integrated pest management, and manage technical information on agricultural farms.
Key Highlights:
1. Pest, disease, and beneficial insect monitoring
2. Support and supervision of integrated pest management
3. Collection and reporting of relevant technical information
**Main Responsibilities**
* Conduct regular visits to various agricultural farms;
* Monitor and record the presence of pests, diseases, and populations of beneficial insects;
* Support and supervise releases of beneficial organisms and other integrated pest management measures;
* Collect, organize, and report relevant technical information to support crop management;
* Assist with other agricultural production-related activities as required by the company.
**Required Profile**
**Mandatory Requirements:**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy or related fields;
* Valid driver's license;
* User-level computer skills.
**Desirable Competencies:**
* Interest in agriculture and biological protection;
* Strong organizational and observational skills;
* Sense of responsibility and autonomy;
* Ability to work effectively in a team;
* Knowledge of English.

**Contractual and Remuneration Conditions**
(Pursuant to Directive (EU) 2023/970\)
* Employment contract compliant with applicable legislation;
* Application of the SETAAB Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA);
* Reference professional category: Biological Control Technician;
* Monthly base salary: €1,150 to €1,500, depending on relevant experience, demonstrated autonomy, applicable qualifications, and suitability for the role;
* Meal allowance: €6 per day actually worked;
* Opportunities for professional development based on objective criteria, including performance, training, experience, autonomy, responsibility, and company needs.
The indicated remuneration complies with the minimum salary scale set forth in the applicable CBA; placement within the defined range is determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
