Preparation of technical opinions and planning of methods and processes. **Job Code:**OE202607/0421 **Job Type:**Open Competitive Procedure **Status:**Active **Organizational Level:**Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation **Department/Service:**Social Action Services of the University of Lisbon **Employment Contract:**Indefinite-term Public Employment Contract (CTFP) **Work Regime:**General Careers **Career:**Senior Technician **Category:**Senior Technician **Complexity Level:**3 **Remuneration:**1499.15€ **Monthly Supplement:**0.00 EUR **Job Description:**The Senior Technician will carry out duties within the Maintenance Unit of the Department of Heritage and Technical Resources Management of SASULisboa, specifically including: a) As a full member of the legally recognized professional association, performing tasks and exercising functions permitted under its current statutory and/or ethical regulations; b) Performing advisory, research, planning, programming, evaluation, and application functions related to technical and/or scientific methods and processes inherent to their area of specialization and academic training, aimed at supporting and preparing decision-making; generally tasked with preparing technical opinions within the scope of responsibilities of the Conservation and Maintenance Unit and the Department of Heritage and Technical Resources Management (hereinafter DGPRT); c) Exercising, with technical responsibility and autonomy—even while operating under qualified higher-level supervision—advisory, research, planning, programming, evaluation, and application functions related to technical and/or scientific methods and processes inherent to their area of specialization and academic training, aimed at supporting and preparing decisions on matters pertaining to the department’s responsibilities and competencies; d) Planning and organizing the production and definition of service methods and processes, as well as quality and safety control in facilities and work activities; e) Carrying out tasks and developing activities aimed at ensuring efficient service organization; f) Preparing procedures required for acquiring materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the Social Action Services to operate correctly, promptly, and effectively—whether through internal procurement processes or external service acquisition; g) Studying, designing, and preparing technical opinions on HVAC projects, equipment, and other related technical specialties—including mechanical systems installations, particularly in the built environment and related sectors—such as energy generation, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, thermal and photovoltaic solar systems, fluid networks, transportation systems, equipment and installations, and their preventive and corrective maintenance; h) Selecting and specifying equipment and components, and subsequently defining applicable standards and codes; i) Planning and organizing the production and definition of methods, as well as quality and safety control in facilities and work activities; j) Promoting and collaborating in training initiatives in the field of safety (facilities, equipment, and personnel), as well as in workplace safety procedures; k) Collaborating in warehouse monitoring and management, studying and implementing new technologies where necessary; l) Providing services related to the operation, inspection, safety, and certification of elevators; m) Conducting energy certifications, indoor air quality assessments, and climate control certifications for facilities, in compliance with applicable technical standards, regulations, and current legislation. **Work Location** **Number of Positions** **Address** **Locality** **Postal Code** **District** **Municipality** Social Action Services of the University of Lisbon 1 "Cantina Velha" Building, University City, Avenida Professor Gama Pinto Lisbon 1600192 LISBOA Lisbon Lisbon Lisbon **Total Number of Positions:**1 **Quota for Persons with Disabilities:**0
