Prepare sales-related documents for the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, banquet/event order forms). Promote brand image both internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Apply sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott. Input, search, match, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third-party data) into sales-related software. Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities and services (e.g., operating hours, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, communicating via phone or email to respond to questions and requests. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional. Welcome all guests and express appreciation in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; sincerely thank guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with others; prepare and verify written materials accurately and completely; observe proper telephone etiquette. Listen attentively to colleagues’ concerns and respond appropriately. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Lift, carry, move, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
