Dynamic work environment with the opportunity to make real-world impact **Mission:** We are looking for our next Development Engineer to integrate technologies that most people only see in magazines. From SAR radars to hyperspectral systems, you will be responsible for ensuring AR5 has the best "vision" on the market—whether patrolling oceans or monitoring complex terrain. If you have the instinct to select the best technologies and the expertise to get them airborne, join our team. **Your key responsibilities within the AR5 team will include:** * **Support the development, integration, and optimization of payloads (sensors)**, covering critical hardware aspects (Mechanics and Electronics) through to production; * **Analyze specifications, requirements, and applicable standards**, translating operational needs into technical requirements; * Collaborate with **multidisciplinary teams** (design, production, quality); * Support acceptance testing and product validation, including assistance in flight tests for sensor validation; * Identify **opportunities for improvement** in existing products and support resolution of technical issues; * Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and test sheets. **Profile and Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field; * Preferred \- Professional experience in similar roles within the field; * Resilience, proactivity, and dynamism; * Language Requirements: Demonstrated C2 proficiency in Portuguese and demonstrated B2 proficiency in English. * Strong adaptability in an environment characterized by continuous innovation. **What We Offer:** * A dynamic and collaborative work environment with the opportunity to make real-world impact * A competitive salary package, adjusted according to proven experience * Meal allowance and health insurance for employees * Transportation service (shuttle) to offices in Leiria, Caldas da Rainha, and Ponte de Sor * Bonus in accordance with company policy * Access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) If you are ready to embrace this opportunity, send us your application
