




Job Summary: The IT GCS Technician ensures the operation, reliability, and security of communications systems, networks, and IT infrastructure, collaborating to guarantee operational continuity and security. Opportunity for real-world impact and passion for technology. **Mission:** As an IT GCS Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation, reliability, and security of communications systems, networks, and IT infrastructure supporting the company’s critical operations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to install, configure, monitor, and resolve incidents in Ground Control Segment (GCS) systems and other critical systems, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with security policies. ##### **Your Key Responsibilities:** * Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software related to ground control stations (GCS), local networks, and supporting infrastructure; * Monitor GCS system performance, identify anomalies, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime; * Diagnose and resolve network, communications, and sensor/platform-to-ground-station integration incidents; * Apply security updates, patches, and improvements to systems and components, ensuring compliance with internal policies; * Configure and manage network services (VPN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS), firewalls, and access rules to support secure operations; * Document operational procedures, interventions, configurations, and changes clearly and systematically; * Provide technical support to operators and mission teams, including basic training and escalation of issues to higher tiers; * Participate in integration testing, validation exercises, and implementation of new capabilities; * Collaborate in defining technical requirements and implementing improvements to system reliability, security, and efficiency; * Ensure compliance with information security standards and best practices for configuration management and version control. ##### **Profile and Requirements** * Secondary education (12th grade) with a higher technical qualification in Information Technologies, Networks, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; * Proven experience in network, system, and communications equipment support and administration (preferably in a GCS or similar environment); * Solid knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching), network services (DHCP, DNS), VPN, and perimeter security; * Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization, and monitoring tools; * Skills in problem diagnosis, log analysis, and use of troubleshooting tools; * Knowledge of aeronautical/telemetry communication protocols and sensor integration is advantageous; * Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with high responsibility and mission focus; * Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating technical documentation and interacting with diverse teams; * Availability for out-of-hours interventions and response to critical incidents when required; * Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network\+/Security\+, Linux certifications) are valued; a valid driver’s license is a plus. ##### **Compensation and Benefits** TEKEVER offers a competitive compensation package designed to support employee well-being and success.
