**Die Meditationen dienen dazu, zu erkennen und tiefer zu verstehen, wer wir sind. Wir versuchen nicht, uns glücklicher oder vollständiger zu machen, indem wir außerhalb von uns selbst suchen, sondern wir erkennen, dass diese Empfindungen Teil unserer Natur sind.** **In den Meditationen geht es nicht darum, etwas zu „leisten“ oder zu erreichen und nicht darum, Gedanken wegzuschieben.** **Das Gewahrsein ist Teil unserer grundlegenden Natur. Die Absicht liegt darauf, dies zu erkennen. Die Meditationen geben uns ein Werkzeug, von unserem Gewahrsein und seinen Qualitäten zu wissen.** **Formale Praxissitzungen sind wichtig, aber es ist auch unser Anliegen im Laufe des Alltags informell zu praktizieren.** The meditations serve to recognize and understand more deeply who we are. We are not trying to make ourselves happier or more complete by looking outside of ourselves, but we recognize that these feelings are part of our nature. The meditations are not about 'performing' or achieving anything and not about pushing thoughts away. Awareness is part of our basic nature. The intention is to recognize this. The meditations give us a tool to know about our awareness and its qualities. Formal practice sessions are important, but it is also our intention to practice informally in the course of everyday life.
